2nd Nationality

A 2nd Nationality is basicly for adding the possibility to play in another National Team than the Nation you have signed up for. Once you have gained a 2nd Nationality then this is permanent and it cannot be changed. 

Once you have accepted an invitation for a National Team then you will be tied to that Nation though. So if you are Swedish originally and have added a 2nd Nationality which is Spanish and you accept an invitation to the Swedish National team then you can NEVER play for any other Nation with any of your current or future footballers - not even the Spanish National Team.

This means that we can see users with two nationalities who may get invited to two National Teams in the future who need to choose which team he/she wants to play for in the future.

So PLEASE be careful and think of this when you are unsure which National Team you want to play for. 

How to get a 2nd Nationality
There are two ways to get a 2nd Nationality. First is to simply pay 5000 FID Credits. 2nd is by requesting this from the IFIDA (by sending a PM to the IFIDA President thegreenwoods). For this request to be even considered the following minimum requirements must be fulfilled though:
*66 league matches (in the league of the requested nation) for a footballer character or a manager.
*200 league matches in total for all the characters of the user.

Once these minimum requirements have been fulfilled it will be up to IFIDA to decide whether the request is granted or not.

What the IFIDA may look at is if the user has been active while playing in the league, if the NFIDA seems to be ok with the request and also if the Nation and the League of the Nation of the requested 2nd Nationality may benifit from the request or not. More things can be considered and the IFIDA will try to look at the big picture and look at it from both the users point of view and the IFIDA point of view (what is considered best for FID as a whole).
